Polskie Ratownictwo Okrętowe is a shipoperating enterprise of more than 50 years tradition.

The enterprise's main task after establishment in the year 1951 was to remove from the polish coast the wrecks remaining after the second world war. Subsequently, the enterprise was then over also the functions of ship salvage.

From beginning of its activities, still availing of the possessed equipment and achieved experience, PRO was carrying out its services activities, whereas. Since the year 2002 Polskie Ratownictwo Okrętowe has been performing exclusively the commercial activities.

The enterprise's main branch of activities remains now the ocean and open
sea towage. We also offer letting on hire a floating crane for transhipment
of heavy lifts, of a weight up to 330 tons. Besides we also perform the
off-shore services crewing services for special units.
We cooperate with various companies all over the world.

All the vessels operated by PRO with the standards required by the
recognised classification association, and in 2002 the enterprise did obtain
the Safety Management Certificate granted to us by Polski Rejestr Statków
and Lloyd's Register Of Shipping.
